Maestro Gerhardt Zimmermann Memorial Fund
The proceeds from the memorial concert held September 10, 2023 and the donations listed below established the Maestro Gerhardt Zimmermann Endowment Fund. This fund will be used to support the MasterWorks series. Dividends received from this fund will sponsor a MasterWorks concert every season in perpetuity under Gerhardt’s name. A “Legacy Wall” within the lobby of the Zimmermann Symphony Center is being designed. This wall will feature portraits of and excerpts regarding prominent figures throughout the CSO’s history, all of which will surround Gerhardt. DESCRIPTION
This concert will be entirely dedicated to Gerhardt’s legacy. We will perform his favorite pieces and have them conducted by friends and colleagues who are able to join us. It will feature the full orchestra and images from his life will be projected on stage. Part of this celebration will include testimonials from all who shared with us during this difficult time.
