We will use the proceeds from this concert to establish and kick-start the Maestro Gerhardt Zimmermann Endowment Fund, which will be used to support the MasterWorks series. Dividends received from this fund will sponsor a MasterWorks concert every season in perpetuity under Gerhardt’s name. The conclusion of the campaign will unveil a “Legacy Wall” within the lobby of the Zimmermann Symphony Center, which will feature portraits of and excerpts regarding prominent figures throughout the CSO’s history, all of which will surround Gerhardt. To begin contributing to this campaign, please click the link below. All donors will be recognized on the wall.

This concert will be entirely dedicated to Gerhardt’s legacy. We will perform his favorite pieces and have them conducted by friends and colleagues who are able to join us. It will feature the full orchestra and images from his life will be projected on stage. Part of this celebration will include testimonials from all who shared with us during this difficult time. If you have yet to share with us, please email boxoffice@cantonsymphony.org to be included.
