Along the way, you’ll meet the four fantastical families of the orchestra. The Strings, gentle and brave, spin golden melodies like straw into gold. The Woodwinds flutter and sing like curious woodland creatures, their voices light as birdsong. The Brass sound the call of heroes and dragons, bold and gleaming like a knight’s trumpet or the roar of a royal fanfare. The Percussion stomp, shake, and sparkle — from thunderous storms to twinkling magic spells, they keep the rhythm of the tale alive. With music inspired by fairytales, folklore, and legends from around the world, this interactive and imaginative concert invites children to explore how an orchestra tells stories, stirs emotion, and inspires wonder — all through the power of sound.
