Community Photochoreography Submission Form
All submissions will be considered for presentation during the MasterWorks V: An Alpine Symphony concert on February 26, 2026.

Requirements

The Canton Symphony Orchestra invites community photographers of all experience levels to submit original landscape images to be featured in a live concert presentation of Richard Strauss’s An Alpine Symphony.

Orientation: All images must be in landscape orientation.
Preferred aspect ratio: 16:9 (e.g. 1920 x 1080 px).

File Type: JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png)

File Size Limit: 32MB

Number of Submissions: Up to 3 images per person

Margins Guide: Important visual elements should remain at least 10% inside from each edge to accommodate projection formatting.

Deadline: All submissions must be received by August 8, 2025

Content Guidelines

Location: Anywhere in nature!

Theme Alignment: Submissions should visually reflect the spirit of An Alpine Symphony.
This may include:
-Dramatic or tranquil natural landscapes
-Local parks, hills, rivers, or sunrises
-Abstract images that evoke scale, silence, or transformation
-Architecture or landmarks in nature that frame a journey or vista

Exclusions:
-No text overlays, or watermarks
-No commercial logos or copyrighted material
-No material that could be perceived as obscene or politically motivated 

Image Rights: By submitting, you grant the Canton Symphony Orchestra the non-exclusive right to use your image(s) in:
-The live concert presentation
-CSO marketing and promotional materials
-Social media and digital content related to this project

Photographers will be credited when possible.
