The Canton Symphony Orchestra Chorus presents Come to the Water—a program exploring the themes of water as refuge, struggle, and renewal. Through readings and choral works by John Rutter, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Moses Hogan, Daniel E. Gawthrop, and others, the concert moves from the meditative to the joyful.
Highlights include selections from A Sea Symphony, Wade in the Water, Sing Me to Heaven, and a lively set from Gilbert & Sullivan. Featured soloists include Heather Shive, Robin Rokisky, Ashlinn Meechan, Daryl Robinson, and Austin Yoder.
There are no tickets or reservations for this performance. Simply show up! Donations, which are fully tax-deductible when made out to the Canton Symphony Orchestra (denote CSO Chorus in the memo), will be accepted at the door.
