DESCRIPTION

Hop aboard The Groove Train for our annual Bourbon & Blues fundraiser! Presented by the Craig Covey LGBT & Diversity Pride Fund, this year’s Bourbon & Blues event will take place at The Auricle – Venue & Bar in downtown Canton, featuring the musical stylings of Becky Boyd & The Groove Train. Immerse yourself in Becky Boyd’s bold, chic, and deeply resonant blues as you explore various bourbon tasting stations and celebrate the continued growth of the Canton Symphony Orchestra.
 
Your admission includes heavy appetizers, a bourbon flight (redeemable at tasting stations), and the chance to participate in the competitive bourbon pull and basket raffles. Cocktail hour will be from 6:00pm-7:00pm and includes a performance by a CSO musician! All proceeds benefit the education, entertainment, and community programs offered by the CSO. Attendance is limited to 144 guests.

Alex Carroll (CSO MUSICIAN)

Alexander Carroll is a double bassist and Robinson Orchestral Career Fellow at the Cleveland Institute of Music who joined the Canton Symphony Orchestra as section bass in fall 2025. An active and versatile performer across classical, jazz, and global styles, he regularly collaborates with ensembles like OPUS 216, has appeared at major music festivals nationwide, and—outside of music—is a two-time Boston Marathon qualifier.

The Auricle can be found in the heart of Canton’s thriving arts district. The Auricle exists to provide a live entertainment experience unlike any other, connecting people through community with music and art in all of its forms. Our space is versatile & Intimate, The Auricle is committed to bringing your favorite artists, comedians, musicals, and private events to a place you can call your own.

Becky Boyd and The Groove Train is a dynamic band known for its soulful blend of blues, jazz, and rock, led by the powerhouse vocalist Becky Boyd. With a career spanning over four decades, Boyd has become a well-respected figure in the music scene, particularly known for her rich, emotive voice that carries both strength and vulnerability.
