For Bill and Nancy Maddox, the Canton Symphony Orchestra (CSO) has long been a place for music, friendship, and community.
Both have played important roles in the organization's history. Bill, a former Board President, believed in responsible financial stewardship and ensuring that the CSO would remain strong for future generations. Nancy served on the Symphony League, organized fundraisers, supported musicians during rehearsals, and developed lasting friendships through her years of volunteer service.
Their connection to the CSO has continued through their family. Nancy remembers bringing her grandchildren to SymphonyLand when they were young. Today, one of those grandchildren performs in the Canton Youth Symphony.
In memory of Bill and in recognition of their shared commitment to the CSO, Nancy has generously provided a $10,000 matching gift for our year-end campaign.
