The Canton Symphony Chorus was founded in 1984 as a volunteer

and performs major choral works with Music Director GERHARDT

Chorus presents a three-concert Showcase Series at St. Paul's
Episcopal Church in downtown Canton.
This year's performance with the Canton Symphony Orchestra will be Barber of Seville by Rossini and the symphony's season finale on April 30 of Vaughan Williams' Dona nobis pacem and Handel's Coronation Anthem: Zadok the Priest. Past works performed by the Chorus include the Brahms, Berlioz, Mozart and Verdi Requiems, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Vaughan Williams’ Antarctica Symphony, and Walton's Belshazzar's Feast.
